A mother and father let pedophiles molest their eight year-old son then said: ‘Deal with it,’ when the abuse left him traumatized, police say.
James Stewart and Teri Sanchez are accused of pimping out the youngster at a hotel room in Albuquerque, New Mexico, between August 2017 and April 2018.
The couple – previously arrested over claims they prostituted their seven year-old daughter in a similar way – reportedly gave ‘two grown men the unrestricted, unchecked access to their young son by giving these men a hotel key card.’
Prosecutors say that Stewart and Sanchez also offered ‘an unoccupied hotel room, and a limited amount of time with their son, which the parents controlled.’
They say that the youngster was exposed to men who touched him inappropriately – and that his parents offered cruel advice when he told of his upset at what he’d experienced.
Sanchez and Stewart have been in custody since 2018 after they were arrested and accused of subjecting their seven year-old daughter to similar sexual abuse in return for cash and drugs
Stewart and Sanchez were indicted on child sex abuse charges related to their son on September 12, with prosecutors saying it is ‘logically presumed’ the boy was offered up in return for cash or drugs.
The pair appeared in court Monday for a brief detention hearing, the Albuquerque Journal reported.
They have been in custody since May 2018, when Stewart was accused of prostituting his seven year-old daughter for ‘weed and pipes and other stuff.’
He and Sanchez would send the girl to school unkempt, hungry and exhausted.
A teacher went to police to say they were concerned about the girl being abused after noticing bloodstains in the youngster’s underwear.
